Key Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years tackling intricate problem-solving as a technical lead in IT infrastructure, applications, integrations, and projects.
• Deep understanding of interconnected IT system architectures, with an instinct for how they converge and thrive.
• Independent problem-solving skills, thriving under pressure with a relentless drive to deliver.
• Proven ability to take full technical ownership of project deliveries, whether within a project team or resolving critical technical challenges.
• Fluent in Finnish and English, with a knack for communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders from varied technical and educational backgrounds.
• A relevant degree (e.g., Master’s or Bachelor’s in a technical field) that fuels your technical mastery.
• Experience in the healthcare sector—whether in the field or managing systems—is a distinct advantage.

• Demonstrated expertise in:
• Network technology
• Windows servers
• MS SQL databases
• Knowledge in the following areas is a plus:
• Linux (Debian/Ubuntu Server)
• SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) telephony
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• REST APIs

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage cutting-edge IT systems in the social and healthcare sector, including personnel alarm systems, nurse call systems, and carephone alarm platforms.
• Collaborate with Tunstall’s global IT organization and local service providers (e.g., hosting and integration platform partners).
• Partner with colleagues across Tunstall’s international territories, including project and support engineers, and R&D teams in the UK, Spain, Sweden, and beyond.
• Serve as a technical cornerstone for the Finnish Sales department, shaping customer requirements, designing system deployments, and providing technical expertise for tenders.
• Act as a 3rd-line support expert for Tunstall Finland’s project and service/support teams, while leading large-scale hospital system projects with full technical ownership.
